Woven leather is effortlessly chic, which may be why everyone from high-end designers Bottega Veneta to cheap and cheerful brands like Aldo have gotten in on the act. Somewhere in the middle of these extremes comes Francesco Biasia’s Caroline satchel. At first glance, I didn’t realize the Caroline was woven at all. My eye was instantly drawn to the dramatic black and white stripes, so it wasn’t until I looked closer that I saw the subtle micro-weave texture. The small weave is so elegant,
